According to the confirmed schedules by Alaska Airlines and Guanacaste Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, the flight from Seattle will depart at 8:15 AM (local time) and arrive in Guanacaste (LIR) at 5:15 PM. The return flight from Guanacaste will depart on Sundays at 10:00 AM and arrive in Seattle at 4:45 PM.

The flight from San Francisco will depart at 8:00 AM (local time) and arrive in Guanacaste at 4:20 PM. The return flight from Guanacaste will leave on Saturdays at 5:30 PM and arrive in San Francisco at 10:35 PM.

The boat ride from Tamarindo beach to Grande beach across the estuary costs about $5 USD) one way, per person. Best to contact us to arrange it . Many of guests will park or walk to the entrance of the estuary, take the boat to Grande and then boat back to Tamarindo.

To come to Saturday Funday or Sunday funday , the boat is free

To come for night shows

You can take the last boat at 5 pm
Shuttle or taxi back for $35 for a car, $40 for a shuttle

Driving Directions from Tamarindo to Playa Grande

Starting at the Automercado, which is on the main road leaving Tamarindo.
Continue along this paved road until it T’s in Villa Real.
Take a LEFT here at the T.
Continue along this paved road for 7 minutes or so, until it T’s again. Now you are in Huacas.
Turn LEFT here.
Continue along this paved road, passing by Super Compro on your right, for around 6 minutes, until you come to a stop. You are in Matapalo. There is a soccer field on your right.
Turn LEFT here at the stop sign.
Go over a little bridge- take care as it is only one lane.
Continue along this paved road, the whole way to Playa Grande. It should take around 7-8 minutes from the little bridge in Matapalo.
To get to Grateful Hotel, take a LEFT just past Kike’s Place and at the corner where the little school sits. Frijoles Locos Surf Shop keep going until the next big intersection you will have to make a left you will see a big sign of our hotel keep going all the way down to Palm Beach Estates, past the security gate and the the left continue straight to the end of the road where Paradise waits.

The Closet airport is Liberia LIR. Driving time is about 1.25 hours, A shuttle service costs total is 1$113 up to 4 maybe 6 people
